  The Lodge was the perfect place to host my mom's surprise 80th birthday party on Jan 28th. We couldn't have pulled it off without the assistance from the great staff there. Lisa, (sales and catering manager) was amazing and helpful in setting up the banquet room rental, food and lodging. Kayla (food service mgr) and her staff went out of their way during the evening and so many people remarked on how good the food was (roast beef, stuffed chicken, 3 cheese pasta and veg medley was amazing!).
  There were 65 of us with many coming from out of town. Some stayed and 10 rooms were rented. There were no issues and the only feedback I heard was how nice they were! The kids loved playing in the indoor pool and game room. I highly recommend using the Lodge for your next event.

  Enjoyed our stay. Kids really enjoyed swimming. Dining was pricey and not great. Overall our stay was quiet, relaxing and refreshing. Wish rates were a bit lower on off season when outdoor pools, golfing and other activities aren't available.

  The staff was very nice and accommoding. We were there for a women's Christian retreat. We had our meetings in the Scioto room. It was freezing in the room the first evening. We were disappointed in the food overall. The pizza was pretty good (dinner), the chicken salad and soup was ok (lunch), but the breakfast we disgusting and unable to be eaten. They served dry flat sausage patties, dried potatoes that looked like they sat out on the table for a couple days, and scrambled eggs that were porous like a sponge. The 2nd day in the room was a little warmer. In 2/3 of the bedrooms we had there were problems. One bedroom had to have the sheets changed because the lady laid on the bed and began itching. Another bedroom had 2 bed bugs. They supposedly will be reimbursing us for the room with the bugs. The only thing good about the stay was the study we completed and the people we were with.
